AJ's running...for a million bucks, and he wants your vote!

Normally, come Friday, it’s pretty muchl up to AJ when it comes time to see where he’s going to start the race (see the story about his “heroics” in qualifying last weekend….).

But everything is different for the Sprint All-Star Race at Lowes Motor Speedway, even how they set the grid.

AJ will get the chance to race his way into the May 17th big-dollar show, but he can also get a bump on the grid with some fan support. He’s counting on you…and willing to ask for your vote, just like he’s been doing nearly every time he sees a camera on lately on Speed Channel.

There are several ways that you can help make it happen:

VOTE NOW by visiting http://www.nascar.com/promos/allstar/vote/login.html or by texting the word "NASCAR" to "7777" on your Sprint or NEXTEL phone. You can vote all the way up to 7 PM on the night of the race May 17th, so vote early, and vote often!

And those of you on Sprint phones…thank you twice as much, since all votes from Sprint phones will be counted twice!
