AJ 15th on Martinsville Grid

22 October 2010--AJ Allmendinger will start Sunday's Tums Fast Relief 500 from 15th on the grid after setting a fast lap time of 19.606 seconds (good for 96.58 mph) on the paperclip oval that is Martinsville. Returning to one of the cornerstone tracks in NASCAR history, AJ will look to pick some momentum up after two consecutive weekends where his car didn't sport all the power it was slated to.
Now in 20th in the points with one final streak of races to go before the finale at Homestead, AJ is looking to ignore the distractions and focus on yet another strong run with the Insignia HDTV/Best Buy Ford after opening the day with the 8th quick time in practice.
The NASCAR Sprint Cup Series event at Martinsville Speedway begins Sunday, October 24th at 1:30 p.m. ET and will broadcast on ESPN TV, MRN Radio and XM/SIRIUS NASCAR Radio.
